Singing Your Favorites - Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Perry Como,
About Larry Breidenbach
After retiring from 34 years in Special Education Administration I have found a wonderful venue for myself; singing the many songs from the Great American Songbook- allowing the audience to take a trip "down memory lane" to songs that go back to the 1940s and up through the years.  My style and my music selection most fits into what senior citizens enjoy hearing. I have sung for the annual fundraiser Gala for the Auxiliary to Centegra Hospital- McHenry, the Fashion Show for Gigi's Playhouse, "Steak and Martini Bistro Night" at Boulder Ridge Country Club as well as many Wedding receptions.  I especially enjoy singing in Retirement Centers, Nursing Homes, Senior Community Centers, Anniversary and Birthday Parties.  My audiences can request songs, and they are encouraged to sing along to the oldies that we all recall from yesterdays.

I also stepped back onstage as Daddy Warbucks in "Annie, The Musical and was honored to first play the role for StageCoach Players in Dekalb (Nov.'13) and then at the Woodstock Opera House in Woodstock (April '14) .  Shaved the head, conquered the script and enjoyed every moment of it.

If your club or organization would appreciate an afternoon or evening of hearing the wonderful songs that were recorded by Sinatra, Bennett, Martin, Como, Williams, Goulet, and so many more - I could be the guy to bring you those wonderful songs through my performance.

  • I am proud to have two recent albums recorded that are available. My first Christmas album "I'll Be Home For Christmas" (Dec.2011) with 17 songs and most recently I recorded "My Very Favorites" (Aug.2013) with 17 great standards that have meant something to me through the years.
  • A special DVD was recorded professionally in Summer 2013 of my outdoor concert in the park called "An Evening With Larry Breidenbach"; also available upon request.

Music soothes the soul and I am finding that I receive from my audience just as much joy as I hope they are getting from my performance. Attired in the black tuxedo and bowtie - some have argued that Sinatra is "still alive".

I live in McHenry, Illinois and travel anywhere in the Northwest suburban area of Chicago.
Always dressed in a tuxedo brings a classy look and shows respect for his audience.
